There are currently a number of different methods of treating early prostate cancer in order to cure it. These are outlined in the video. One of the most exciting of these is robotic assisted radical prostatectomy using the da Vinci robotic system. This was introduced to the Galway Clinic in 2007 and was the first centre in Ireland to perform it. Information in relation to the da Vinci robotic system is included in this video.
